Conducted as part of Operation Dominic was a series of high altitude tests known as Operation Fishbowl. The purpose was to establish a normalization or reference point for future high yield designs. The yield was slightly lower than expected. Within two days it had broken up into small patches and spread out for 5 to 8 miles.
